Sauvage is an aromatic fougere from the celebrated nose Francois Demarchy introduced in 2015. It has become extremely popular due to the fresh peppery hints that keep it from becoming too pedestrian. The top notes are Calabrian bergamot and pepper. The heart becomes more complex with middle notes of pink pepper, vetiver, patchouli, geranium, elemi, and Sichuan pepper. Bringing in the dry down are base notes of labdanum, ambroxan, and cedar for an ending that is warm and sensual. This fragrance has terrific longevity and sillage. Use it lightly in a crowded room.
